No. 9

As we move into the New Year and 2019, I find myself looking back on 2018 with many different types of emotions.

Thankful, disappointed, humorous and fast, really fast!  For me there’s no other way to describe 2018 other than fast. Overall I feel like I accomplished everything and nothing all at once, which probably sounds crazy to you.  I had so many experiences and made a ton of memories e.g. festival, shows, volunteering, getting a full drivers license and obviously starting this blog.

However there are things that I haven’t done as much of, for example, I didn’t study for my AS EXAMS as much as I could have, I didn’t do much in the way of body fitness, I didn’t do much reading and I didn’t gain my Maths GCSE.

However, even after all those ‘I didn’t’, there were a large number of ‘I did’, and maybe those things that I didn’t do are getting saved up for me to achieve in 2019.

I think that if I was to give myself a piece of advice for the new year it would be don’t rush, and to go at my own pace.   It’s easy to look at others and compare, but I need to focus on what I want for myself and not what others want for me.

All I have to say for now is, Thank You 2018 for the positives and negatives, and Thank You to all those people in my life who’ve made it positive.  So here’s to 2019,

I hope you all have a great new year and have great new years resolutions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

p.s. I hope you find this blog  as short and as fast as 2018 went for me
